Personal Firearms Registration
All firearms that are brought aboard FHL/PRFTA need to be registered with Fort Hunter Liggett Directorate of Emergency Services
(DES) through the Visitor Control Center (VCC). If you wish to bring a firearm aboard that is not registered with FHL DES or you do
not have proof of registration you will need to register it.
Registration Process: To register your firearms you will need to fill out FHL Form 8-1 with all of the firearms you wish to
bring aboard FHL/PRFTA. If you are registering more than 10 firearms you will need to fill out FHL Form 8-1a along with this form.
Minors do not register firearms, the adult that is sponsoring the minor will register the firearms under his/her name. FHL Form 8-1
and 8-1a can be found on iSportsman at this web site: https://fthunter.isportsman.net/. Once filled out the form can be sent to the
VCC for processing. A copy of your Real ID compliant driver license/ID must be submitted with your registration form. Upon
