Upon signing this permit and agreeing to its terms and conditions, PERMITTEE shall have the right to enter upon
premises for the purposes and during the term specified herein.
This permit is valid until December 31, 2021, unless terminated by the Conservancy. The Conservancy may in
its sole discretion terminate this permit at any time. One permit per calendar year.
The specified product of this permit is fuelwood. Fuelwood collected by PERMITTEE is for PERMITTEE’S
personal use only, not for sale. Resale of collected fuelwood constitutes a violation of Public Resources Code
§4527, a criminal misdemeanor.

RMITTEE may only collect fuelwood designated for collection by the CONSERVANCY.
PERMITTEE may not assign this permit or permit others to use the premises.
The use of power saws, wood splitters, or other related power equipment is prohibited.
PERMITTEE shall keep all vehicles on paved streets. PERMITTEE shall not skid logs, fuelwood rounds, or
split fuelwood on premises, and PERMITTEE shall not use tractors, skidders, loaders, yarders, or similar heavy
equipment on premises. PERMITTEE shall protect residual young-growth trees, shrubs, and other soil-protecting
vegetation against injury or damage from PERMITTEE’S activities.
PERMITTEE waives all right to recourse against the CONSERVANCY for any and all claims for damage or injury
to any person or property from any cause or causes in any way connected with or incident to this permit.
PERMITTEE shall indemnify and hold the CONSERVANCY harmless from any and all liability, claims, costs and
expenses in any way connected with or incident to PERMITTEE’S conduct under this permit.
Termination of this permit shall not release the PERMITTEE from liability resulting from a wrongful or negligent
act which occurred prior to termination.
PERMITTEE shall comply with all applicable State and Local laws as well as the California Forest Practice Rules.

This permit is valid for 2 cords (128 cubic feet) of all species fuelwood.
The amount or condition of fuelwood will vary by location and is NOT guaranteed.
Fuelwood Designated for collection will be stacked approximately50 feet from the nearest road access.
Vehicles may not leave public streets and/or enter lots under any circumstances.
No Wood Collecting while Crews are still on site.
By downloading, printing, displaying, reproducing or otherwise using this fuelwood permit, Permittee
hereby agrees to the terms and conditions set forth above for the Conservancy’s Community Fuelwood
Program.
Violation is punishable by law (California Penal Code §§ 384(a),384.5,487(c))
