International Exchange Student Advising Agreement

This form must be completed and submitted to the Office of the Registrar prior to your term abroad.
Approval of Courses for Academic Program: Academic credit will be awarded upon the receipt of an official transcript according to
the policies outlined in the International Exchange Participation Request form. Both the Participation Request and Advising Agreement
must be completed prior to the semester(s) of exchange. A separate Advising Agreement is required for each semester that the
student will be abroad.
Course Load: Students studying abroad must take the normal (not minimum) full credit load as defined by the program or host
institution*. Overloads and/or underloads and/or any changes to the program of studies will require approval by the academic advisors.
Students should follow the procedures outlined in the Study Abroad Policy under Courses, Credits, and Grades.
*To ensure that the student will meet the course load requirement, he/she should select and obtain full approval of at least two
alternate courses.
