Your Resume and/ or Biography
You must be classified in Georgia by the Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board as a State Certified Residential or State Certified
General Real Property Appraiser in order to serve as a Hearing Officer.
Once we have received this application, we will notify the Georgia Department of Revenue, pursuant to O.C.G.A.
48-5-311, that you are eligible to take the required Training Course to Become a Hearing Officer.
The Department of Revenue will notify us when you have completed the course and we will post your information, including
counties you can serve, on our website and the counties will then be able to contact you to serve as a Hearing Officer.
The " Hearing Officer Disqualification" Questionnaire" will need to be completed and provided to the county each time that you
serve as a Hearing Officer. The " Hearing Officer Disqualification" Questionnaire" is available separately on our web site.
