Once this form has been received by the Indiana County Probation
Department, the defendant will be interviewed in person or by telephone and
a Pre-Sentence Investigation will be completed. If the defendant is
interested in House Arrest with Electronic Monitoring, he/she will be
instructed to have a CRN evaluation, and a drug and alcohol assessment
completed at The Open Door if he/she has not already done so. A deadline
date will be given to the defendant during the interview to have these things
completed. The plea and sentence date will be given to the defendant
during the interview. If the defendant can not be contacted by the Probation
Department, a Pre-Sentence Investigation will be completed with what
information is available. The defendant will receive a letter from the Court
Administrator’s Office of the plea and sentencing date.
