Please refer to the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Regulations of the City of Danbury (the
“Regulations”) for all requirements for submission of applications and administrative approval forms.
Checks to be payable to the City of Danbury (amount to include $60.00 State Land Use Fee as required
per C.G.S.). Refer to fee schedule in Sec. 12 of the “Regulations”.

ACTIVITY INFORMATION
1. The proposed use or activity-is one of the following permitted uses outlined in Section 4.1 of the Inland
Wetlands and Watercourses Regulations of the City of Danbury. Check the appropriate section(s):
A. Grazing, farming, nurseries, gardening, and harvesting of crops (Section 4.1A).
B. Farm pond five (5) acres or less essential to the farming operation (Section 4. 1A).
C. Construction of a residential home for which a building permit has been issued prior to July
1, 1987 (attach copy of valid building permit and site plan) (Section 4.1B).
D. Boat anchorage or mooring (Section 4. 1C).
E. Use incidental to the maintenance and enjoyment of property presently use for residential
purposes (containing a dwelling). Such property is equal to or smaller than the largest minimum
lot size as required by the City of Danbury Zoning, Regulations (Section 1.D).
F. Construction and operation by a water company or municipal water supply system of a dam,
reservoir or other facility necessary for the impounding, storage and withdrawal of water in
connection with public supplies (Section 4.1E).

2. The proposed use or activity will not disturb the natural or indigenous character of the wetland or
watercourse and is one of the following non-regulated uses outlined in Section 4.2 of the Inland Wetlands
and Watercourses Regulations. Check the appropriate section(s):

B. Outdoor recreation (Section 4.2B).
C. Groundwater monitoring wells (Section 4.2C).
