2021 OPEN BOARD AND OFFICER POSITIONS
The deadline for all candidate nominations is April 27, 2020. Candidate proles are due by May 6, 2020.
In order to run for oce and serve, ALL candidates must be REALTORS

with Seattle King County
REALTORS

-in-good-standing. Members of the Board are expected to attend a three-hour meeting every other
month and be engaged in other Association activities.
PRESIDENT-ELECT (1 YR TERM)
The candidate must be or have been 1) an Ocer of SKCR or 2) a SKCR Director who has also
served as one of the following; a Standing Committee, Sub-committee or Task Force Chair-person of
SKCR; or a Standing Committee member of SKCR for at least two years; or a Director of Washington
REALTORS
®
for at least two years at the time the candidate would normally be sworn into oce.
VP OF BUSINESS PRACTICES (1 YR TERM)
Candidates must be or have held the position of a SKCR or WR Director, and have served one
additional year as a Business Practice, Grievance, or Professional Standards Committee member, Sub-
Committee, or Task Force Chair-person, at the time the candidate would normally be sworn into oce.
VP-ELECT OF GOVERNMENTAL & PUBLIC AFFAIRS (1 YR TERM)
Candidates must be or have held the position of a SKCR or WR director, and have served one
additional year as a Governmental & Public Aairs Committee member, or Sub-committee, or Task
Force Chair-person, at the time the candidate would normally be sworn into oce.
DIRECTOR AT-LARGE (2 YR TERM) (4 POSITIONS TO BE ELECTED)
One at-large Director shall be a member who has not served on the Board of Directors in the last three years.
REGIONAL DIRECTOR (2 YR TERM) (2 POSITIONS TO BE ELECTED)
For this election cycle, the following positions will be elected:
• North County Region: ONE owner, designated broker, or endorsed branch manager.
• East County Region: ONE owner, designated broker, or endorsed branch manager.
YOUNG PROFESSIONALS NETWORK DIRECTOR (1 YR TERM)
The Young Professionals Network shall forward the name of one nominee for election each year.
