Wells Fargo Technical Scholarship Program
Application & Eligibility Criteria
Vance-Granville Community College is pleased to announce the 2020-2021 Wells Fargo
Technical Scholarship Program. The scholarship is valued at $500. This scholarship
program is distributed among the 58 colleges in the community college system, which
may be distributed in two payments: fall semester, $250; and spring semester, $250.
To qualify as a candidate for this scholarship, a person must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a ful
l-time student enrolled in the second year of a two-year
educational/technical program.
2. Demonstrate financial need.
3. Demonstrate scholastic promise.
4. Use the scholarship to pay for tuition, books, and/or transportation.
Application deadline is Wednesday, April 8, 2021.
Students: Submit your completed application, essay, and consent form to the Financial
Aid Office. One recipient will be selected by the VGCC Scholarship Committee. All
applications will be notified by email of the committee's decision. Incomplete
application packets (application, essay, & consent form) will not be considered.
