The above is a true description of the lot. The acceptance of the permit herein applied for shall constitute an agreement on my part to abide
by all conditions herein contained and also to comply with all ordinances set forth by Newburgh Heights , and the laws of the State of Ohio
relating to the work to be done thereunder and said agreement is a condition of said permit.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO HOMEOWNERS: IF YOU OBTAIN THIS PERMIT ON THE BEHALF OF A CONTRACTOR YOU ARE
LIABLE FOR ALL WORK INCLUDING ANY VIOLATIONS OR UNCOMPLETED WORK. CONTRACTORS MUST BE CURRENTLY
REGISTERED.
In signing this application, the contractor or owner’s agent certifies that the work is authorized by the owner or record.
Hours of operation shall be between 7 a.m. to not later than 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday; in no event, demolition shall take place on
Sunday or a legal holiday.
Building Dept. inspections are required, prior start, after structure is COMPLETELY removed, & when completed.
All sewers shall be bulkheaded at the property line or as directed by the Engineering Dept. A street opening permit may be required from the
Engineering Dept. Bulkheading shall be inspected by the Engineering Dept. prior to commencement of demolition.
Demolition of the main structure shall also include the removal of all slabs, basements, walls, and floors, footers, sanitary sewer treatment tanks
and any other subgrade structures and including the demolition of all associated accessory buildings and uses under the same permit.
All concrete or hard surfaces, walks, drives, parking areas and other grade level hard surfaces, including sub-bases, and/or gravel shall be
removed from the premises.
Existing curb cuts on curbing shall be restored by the Newburgh Heights Building and Zoning Code.
Underground storage tanks and any contaminated soil located on the site shall be removed from the site. Removal of the tank shall be under
the supervision of the Fire Prevention Bureau.
ALL EXCAVATIONS RESULTING FROM DEMOLITION SHALL BE BACKFILLED WITH CLEAN SANDY FILL (SAND, CLAY
OR LOAM) TO EXISTING GRADE AND PLANTED WITH GRASS.
No excavation shall be made on the job side for the purpose of removing soil or burying debris.
All demolition debris shall be removed from the site.
The contractor shall comply with all federal, state and local environmental ordinances and regulations and shall cooperate with the owner to
obtain any required permits. The contractor shall obtain the necessary permits and comply with all reporting requirements required by such
federal, state or local environmental agencies. The contractor shall provide copies of all environmental permits to the City upon applying for a
demolition permit.
Noise levels shall be kept to a minimum.
