Vehicle Entry & Parking
Registered vehicles may enter and park as early as 8:30am and must
remain parked for the duration of the event. Groups of vehicles must
enter together to park together. It is expected that all event
participants will drive safely and behave responsibly while on and
around campus. Parking lots will close and parking privileges will
expire at 10:00pm.
Registration Fees
Registration fee is $10 per car and includes entrance for driver and all
passengers. Pre-registration payment can be mailed with registration
form to: El Camino College c/o Patricia Fairchild 16007 Crenshaw
Blvd., Torrance, CA 90506 or it can be made digitally by credit card or
e-check via the El Camino College Foundation at:
www.elcamino.edu/foundation/donate.asp (please choose a
Program of ‘Other’ and enter ‘Girls in the Garage’ for a program name). Pre-registration deadline is Thursday, March 13
th
. Show
proceeds will benefit El Camino College’s Girls in the Garage hands-on technology workshops for women.
Media & Liability
The Girls in the Garage All-Girl Car Show & Vintage Fashion Exchange is a public event. Although the College and event staff
have taken reasonable precautions against injury, theft and vehicle damage, an incident-free event cannot be guaranteed.
Please be mindful of other vehicles when opening car doors, etc.
Photographers and journalists from local, national and digital media such as newspapers, magazines, websites and podcasts will
be present and may be photographing/recording the event and interviewing attendees and participants.
By completing and signing this form you agree (please initial):
[ ] To accept any and all inherent risk involved in the car show and vintage fashion exchange activities and agree to indemnify and
hold El Camino College, its employees, agents, and volunteers harmless against any and all claims of injury, loss or other claim of
whatever nature that may in any way arise out of my participation in the car show or activities held the day of the event.
[ ] To agree to be photographed without compensation, and grant the photographer(s) the right to use and publish
photographs of me, or in which I may be included, for editorial, trade, advertising, and any other purpose and in any manner
and medium; and to alter and composite the same without restriction and without my inspection or approval. I hereby release
Photographer and his/her legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs.
[ ] That I am 18 years of age or older, or have the permission of my parent or guardian to participate in the Girls in the Garage Car
Show & Vintage Fashion Exchange, and that my parent/guardian has acknowledged, accepted and initialed the above two releases.
