The University Honors Program provides an enhanced and supportive learning environment for exceptionally
talented and motivated students and is open to all undergraduate students interested in opportunities for
enriched learning, cultural explorations, and fellowship.
Incoming freshmen are eligible if they meet at least one of the following criteria:
• High school GPA of at least 3.5
• In the upper fifth of their graduating class
• ACT score of at least 26 or SAT of at least 1140
Current MSUB and transfer students will be admitted upon presentation of:
• Current transcript indicating a cumulative university GPA (after 15 credits) of 3.2
All applicants must present a letter of recommendation from a previous instructor or professor.
