TUITION WAIVER REQUEST

Registration, on a space available basis, is only allowed on or after the first day of instruction.
Waiver Request form must be turned in before payment. NO reimbursements will be made.
Waiver covers tuition ONLY.
Fees are not covered by waiver (i.e., student activity fees, course lab fees, health center fees, technology
fees, etc.). Fees are student’s responsibility and must be paid by the deadline.
SENIOR CITIZEN CERTIFICATION OF ELIGIBILITY
I certify that I am an Alaska resident, and am age-eligible to receive full social security retirement benefits. I
understand that the tuition waiver is valid on a “space available” basis only, when courses can accommodate
seniors in addition to regularly enrolled students. I registered for the class or classes on or after the first day of
instruction.

SENIOR CITIZEN TUITION WAIVER
REGENTS’ POLICY 05.10.080.B.
Regular tuition shall be waived for Alaska residents who meet the following criteria: they must be age eligible to
receive full (unreduced) social security retirement benefits and they must register on a space available basis.
“Space available basis” means when courses can accommodate such students in addition to other enrolled students.
