2020 NOMINATION FORM
Tallahassee Community College’s African American History Month Calendar Committee is accepting
nominations for the 20
th
Annual Cherry Hall Alexander African American History Calendar. This year’s
theme, “A Vote of Confidence”, will feature those community advocates who have exhibited leadership
in any sector of the Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson or Gadsden County community, including the business,
non-profit, government, community grassroots advocacy, education, arts, law, or religious sector. As a
nominator, please consider the following before completing the form on behalf of a potential nominee:
Holds residency in the Leon, Wakulla Jefferson or Gadsden County area;
Demonstrates significant contributions to the state of Florida through one of the
aforementioned sectors/ and
Has not been featured in the calendar in previous years.
Please note: The committee will evaluate the scope and impact of a nominee’s achievements and the
extent to which his/her efforts benefit the community. Please document significant achievements and
accomplishments related to the nomination.
As a nominator, the committee requests that you complete the form. The African American History
Month Calendar Committee will evaluate the nominations and select individuals to be honored in the
2020 Tallahassee Community College Cherry Hall Alexander African American History Calendar.

Nominees will not be considered without a completed nomination form.
