Sur

Selective Admissions & Criteria Process
The Surgical Technology Program uses a selective admission process, based upon a ranking system
that considers grades in pre-program courses, grades in foundation courses, previous work
experience in healthcare and an applicant’s cumulative college GPA at the time of admission. The
ranking system is designed to select for students most likely to succeed in the surgical technology
program. The applications will be ranked and those applicants who have met all pre-program entry
requirements and with the highest scores will be offered admission until all seats are filled.
