Change Grade Option to Pass/No Pass Due to COVID 19
Important: The California Community Colleges State Chancellor’s Office has authorized the South Orange
County Community College District to permit a students to change their grade option from a Letter Grade to
Pass/No Pass for classes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Students who wish to change their grading option
because of the current crisis are strongly encouraged to meet with a counselor as it may impact the course
transferability, completion of their program, Financial Aid or Veteran Education Benefit status.

How may a P/NP affect transferability?
