admitted to do business in the State of Illinois, as Surety, are held and firmly bound unto the people of the State of Illinois in the penal
sum of ___________________________ dollars ($ _____________), lawful money of the United States of America, for which payment
well and truly to be made we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly these presents.
The condition of the above obligation is such that, the above bound Principal is engaged in the business of offering invention
development services and is required by the provisions of Section 601 of the Fair Invention Development Standards Act to furnish a bond
conditioned as herein set forth;
Now, therefore, if said Principal and any and all agents and employees representing said Principal shall faithfully and honestly conduct
their business in accordance with the provisions of the Fair Invention Development Standards Act, then the above obligation shall be
null and void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue of law.
This bond is subject to the following provisions:
• That any person claiming against this bond may maintain an action at law in his own name
against the Principal and Surety.
• That the aggregate liability of Surety to all persons for breaches of the conditions of this bond
shall in no event exceed the penal sum above set forth.
• That this bond shall remain in force and effect beginning on the _________ day of _________________ 20_______ and
