As part of the approval of your construction permit, Harrington Park code 350-54 to 350-62 requires a Soil
Movement permit be filed with the Borough Clerk’s office.
Minor Soil Movement Permit (35 – 350 cubic yards)
□ $ 50.00 application fee
□ $ 1000.00 Initial Escrow for Borough Engineering review
2 separate checks – each made out to the Borough of Harrington Park
Please note per 350-59 B. (1) if storm water management improvements are
required, additional escrow may be required.
□ Completion of the Minor Soil Movement application. Provide a sketch of the property
showing the location(s) of the improvement(s).
Major Soil Movement Permit (Over 350 cubic yards)
□ Requires application to be filed with the Harrington Park Planning Board
□ $ 100.00 application fee
□ $ 1000.00 Initial Escrow for Borough Engineering review
□ $ 500.00 Site Plan Review for Planning Board
3 separate checks – each made out to the Borough of Harrington Park
□ Completion of Major Soil Movement application. Provide a copy of the site plan.
NO CONSTRUCTION PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED UNTIL THE SOIL PERMIT IS APPROVED AND ISSUED
