Career Services Coordinator
Career Services Coordinator
Under the supervision of the Director of Career Services, the Career Services Coordinator will
assist the Director in the preparation and implementation of all career-related events/activities
and programs at Campbellsville University.
Job Responsibilities:
Skills/Qualifications:
• Assist in providing networking and job search resources to students
• Oversee posting of jobs received from employers on career services jobs board
• Collaborate with Development office to promote alumni and employer networking for
internships/jobs
• Work with the director to coordinate and implement career readiness events/workshop such as:
o Majors Fairs/Career talks for specific majors
o Professionalism in the workplace seminars
o Job Interviewing tips/Resume building seminars
o Job and Internship Expos on campus and assist with off-site as needed.
o Dining Etiquette Networking Program for students
o Assist with resume/cover letter critiques and practice interviews during peak times and
provide feedback to students.
• Maintain Career Services’ employer databases and updates for CU career webpage
• Graduate tracking process – Contact CU graduates within one year after degree conferred to
verify employment success; input data collected into campus wide database for reporting
purposes
• Serve as primary administrator of the Handshake career management platform to grow
employer partners.
• Review CPT assignments on monthly basis and compile reports.
• Maintain database of all follow up CPT contact and employer partners for our on-campus job
fairs.
• Submit monthly reports on contacts regarding accuracy to university PDSO and DSOs
• Develop relationships with employer HR departments, including new corporate relationships.
• Assist in marketing of career services events – promote through social media and other avenues
• Participate in the assessment and evaluation of all career services programs
• Assist Career Services director in researching companies offering internships/FT jobs
• Other duties assigned by the director as deemed necessary
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in professional experience.
Must have experience in an office setting.
Must possess impeccable communication skills, specifically telephone and email.
Must be self-motivated and organized and willing to learn new things.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook tools.

Essential Duties:
Working hours necessary to perform job requirements satisfactorily on a regular basis.
Managing absences from work in a responsible manner to ensure service to university faculty,
staff and students.
