2016 Scholarship
Dear Applicant:
The CCCEOPSA Scholarship Committee selected Columbia College to have the distinction of awarding one
EOPS student a $1000 scholarship for Fall 2016.
Minimum Qualifications:
You MUST
• Be an active EOPS student (Spring 2016),
• Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA,
• Have completed at least 24 semester units by the end of Spring 2016,
• Be enrolled in a minimum of 9 units at Columbia College or at a 4-year college in Fall 2016;
and
• The scholarship will be presented at the Statewide EOPS conference in Monterey Bay, CA,
scheduled for November 9
th
, 2016. Travel and accommodations will be paid by EOPS.
Application Packet Checklist:
1. Application
2. Unofficial college transcripts from ALL colleges attended
3. A recommendation letter from a counselor or instructor; preferably from a non-EOPS
source.
4. Personal statement (two-page maximum, please follow the attached Personal Statement
Guidelines and its recommendations.)
