Student Support Services Scholarship Application
Application for Spring 2019 Scolarships
Scholarships are awarded to current participants in Student Support Services. Students who
were accepted into the program before July 31, 2018 are eligible to apply for Spring 2019
scholarships. Selection is based on 1) Essay, 2) Program participation, 3) Academic Achievement,
and 4) Financial Need. All information will be kept condential.
Essay Topic: What SSS services have you beneted from the most? What services would you like
to see added or improved? What are your suggestions on promoting the SSS program to fellow
students?
Instructions:
1. Complete all blanks on this application and sign/date the certication statement.
2. Attach a typed, well thought-out essay. Include your myWSU ID in the top right corner
of your essay (Do not put your name on/in your essay). Word count: 300-400
3. Turn in completed application to the SSS oce by 4:00pm, October 31, 2018. You
may choose to submit all items via email to TRIO.SSS@wichita.edu.
4. Late or incomplete applications will automatically be disqualied.
5. Recipients will be contacted by e-mail no later than November 20, 2018.
