Creative Commons Licenses
A Creative Commons (CC) license is one of several public copyright licenses that enable the free distribution of an
otherwise copyrighted work. A CC license is used when an author wants to give people the right to share, use, and build
upon a work that they have created. You do not need to grant a creative commons license. Be sure ‘I choose not to
apply a Creative Commons License’ is selected on page 1 if you choose not to grant one.
Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license. This license allows both commercial and noncommercial use, distribution,
remixing, and building upon the work, so long as attribution is given to the original creator. For license details, see

Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike 3.0 license. This license allows both commercial and noncommercial use,
distribution, remixing, and building upon the work, so long as attribution is given to the original creator and the new work is

Creative Commons Attribution Noncommercial 3.0 license. This license allows noncommercial use, distribution,
remixing, and building upon the work, so long as attribution is given to the original creator. For license details, see
