GOLF CAMP SPONSORSHIP

Sponsored by Laurie Palibroda Memorial and Kootenay Savings Credit Union. The cost of participating in
some organized sports can be a nancial challenge and barrier to some families. Thanks to the generous
support from many community donations in memory of Laurie Palibroda and Kootenay Savings Credit
Union, youth from the West Kootenay area are eligible to apply for support towards the costs of attending the
Selkirk Saints Golf Camp registration.

General Guidelines:
• Application deadline for this bursary is June
15,
2020
Late applicants will only be accepted if no qualified recipient has been selected.
• Parents or Legal Guardians of children ages 7 to 17 years are eligible to apply for this bursary as listedbelow under Application Guidelines
• Children must be a permanent resident of the West Kootenay region.
• Financial need and an interest in golf are the first criteria for these bursaries.
• All applications must be completed in ink. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
• All applications must be sent to the Financial Aid Office of Selkirk College via mail (301 Frank BeinderWay, Castlegar, BC, V1N 4L3), email (Financial_Aid@selkirk.ca), or
fax (250.365.3929).
Application Guidelines:
• The parent or legal guardian of the junior golfer may apply directly for
this award.
• Members of the community, such as Coaches or Sports Directors, Recreation Administrators, SocialWorkers, Health or Church Ocials, who have knowledge of the
applicant and his/her nancial needmay nominate (SEE NOMINATION FORM) the junior golfer for this sponsorship.
