Student Allocations Committee Application
The Student Allocations Committee (SAC) is a committee dedicated to allocating university funds to
Winthrop’s student organizations to help sponsor programs and events beneficial to the entire student
body. This prestigious committee consists of five students who are appointed by the Council of Student
Leaders. The committee is chaired by the CSL Vice President with the assistance of the SAC
Administrator, who is interviewed and hired by the Assistant Director for Student Activities and
Leadership, as well as the President and Vice President of CSL. Two students on the committee are
appointed representatives from CSL (including the SAC Administrator), while the other two students
are selected from general applicants across the university.
If you are interested in serving as a general member on the Student Allocations Committee, you must be
available to meet on selected Fridays throughout the year from 3-5pm to review any new funding requests.
You must be dedicated and impartial to ALL student organizations.
