Rough Grade Certification
The City of Yorba Linda requires a licensed Professional Engineer to submit a wet signed and stamped rough grade
certification prior to the issuance of building permits.

I hereby approve the rough grading for the above referenced project in accordance with my responsibilities under
Orange County Grading and Excavation Code and City Grading Code. I confirm that the site was graded in
accordance with the accepted grading plan including location of property corners for proper building location,
completion of retaining walls, location and slope ratio for all manufactured slopes, construction of earth berms,
installation of all drainage devices, location and elevation of building pads and positive building pad drainage. The
placement of the building pad and the pad elevation as shown below are in conformance with the grading plan as
accepted by the City of Yorba Linda. The building pad is suitable for building construction as related to the preceding
items and conforms to the standards of care for grading practices and tolerances.
The volume of earth materials moved by cut and/or fill grading agrees does not agree with the permitted
earthwork stated on the grading plan. The revised volumes of material moved are:
