FINAL EXAMINATION COURSE REVALIDATION
If coursework has been completed more than 6 years prior to the date of final examination and is
not part of an earned degree, a revalidated plan including this form must be submitted with the
approval to schedule final examination form. The courses must be revalidated the semester the
student graduates.
The following methods of revalidation or combinations of methods are acceptable:
a. require the student to complete a project relevant to the course content
b. passing an examination specifically covering the current course material
c. Industrial and professional experiences which demonstrates knowledge of courses content must be
accompanied with document explaining how the student had to maintain educational requirements for
licensure or professional credential(s).
d. assessing during the final MS oral examination that student’s knowledge of the course content is current and
up to date
