Fence
1. Individual privacy fences may be no
taller than 6 feet in height.
2. Wooden fences must be construct-
ed of spruce or cedar. No other
wood type is permied.
3. Wooden fences must be construct-
ed with the spine/posts facing in-
wards.
4. Individual privacy fences may be
built in an easement, however the
property owner shall be responsible
for the removal and rebuilding of
the fence at his or her own expense.
5. Fences may be constructed inside
the property boundary, however
property owners are responsible for
maintenance of their property.

Accessory Structure
1. Accessory structure larger than 250
square feet must be site built and of
a similar design to the primary
structure.
2. Accessory structures larger than 650
square feet require a Specic Use
Permit (SUP).
3. For all single-family zoning districts,
accessory structure may be no taller
than 15 feet in height, except SF-PH
(pao homes) where accessory
structures are limited to 10 feet in
height.
4. Accessory structures must be locat-
ed in the rear yard and may be no
less than 60 feet from the front
building line.

1. Allowable roof materials include:
shingles, metal, slate, or other long-
term material. In no instance shall
wood shingle be allowed.
2. Metal roofs shall either be a baked-
on color nish or anodized alumi-
num with specic exclusion to galva-
nized metal roong.
3. Shingles must be of a dimensional
design and have a minimum manu-
facturer’s rang of thirty (30) years
and/or lifeme.
