C
onditions for participation in reciprocal program:
Student must be in good and regular standing at Walla Walla University.
Total course load, including WWU and Whitman, must be reasonable.
Course to be taken at Whitman College must usually be one that is not available at WWU.
Course may not involve individual instruction.
Only one course may be taken per term, and permission is granted for only one term at a time.
Permission if granted on a space-available basis; Whitman students have priority.
Whitman College is on semester system; fall semester begins in late August or early September, spring
semester overlaps both
winter and spring quarters at WWU.
Semester credits are multiplied by 1.5 to convert to quarter credits; e.g., 3 semester credits = 4.5 quarter
credits. This
conversion also applies to tuition charges.
WWU tuition will be charged for the quarter in which the course begins. Tuition may not be split between
two quarters. A spring
s
emester course may be charged spring quarter instead of winter by request.
Student will be billed by Whitman College for special course fees other than tuition, if any fees apply.
