Award Recommendation for Nomination
Criteria for the Nomination
1. Nominee should have made some significant contribution to the teaching profession, to
Pasadena City College, and to the community.
2. Nominee should have completed a minimum of ten years of teaching service to Pasadena City
College.
3. Nominee should be currently employed by the District in a full-time certificated capacity.
4. Nominee should not be a previous recipient of this award.

1. Nomination should be supported by signatures of ten regular members of the Academic Senate.
Space for signatures is provided below. (“Regular” members of the Academic Senate are all
non-management certificated persons with at least 75% assignment.)
2. A statement of the nominee’s contributions to the teaching profession, to Pasadena City
College, and/or to the community must be submitted by one or more of the nominators.
3. The completed nomination papers, consisting of a minimum of 10 signatures and the statement
of contributions should be delivered to the Academic Senate Office, C-227. The nomination
deadline will be posted at https://pasadena.edu/governance/academic-senate/awards-events/
