Please read the guidelines below and sign indicating your agreement at the bottom:
• Rebates are available to College Station Utilities single-family residential water customers with an account in
good standing, who install a rain barrel to capture rainwater runoff.
• Submitting a Rebate Application in no way obligates the City of College Station or College Station Utilities to pay
a rebate.
• Rebates are offered on a first come/first serve basis and are subject to availability of funds. The rebate may be
terminated at any time, without notice, by College Station Utilities.
• A dated and itemized receipt (or copy of receipt), together with this rebate application form, must be submitted
to College Station Water Services within 90 days of purchase, to:

• Prior to issuance of a rebate, a representative from the City of College Station may conduct a site inspection to
verify rain barrel installation. The rain barrel must be installed and functional at the time of the inspection.
• $25 maximum rebate per barrel, with a two (2) barrel limit per household. Rebate will not exceed amount paid
for barrel(s).
• Barrel must be a new or refurbished barrel, intended to hold water, with a minimum capacity of 30 gallons.
• Customer agrees to install rain barrels within the City of College Station water service area, screen or cover
barrels to prevent mosquitoes, and to use collected rainwater only for non-potable (non-drinking) purposes.
• The City of College Station does not endorse specific brands, products, or dealers; nor does it guarantee
materials, workmanship, performance or durability of rebated products.
