AmajorinPublicHealthwillprovideflexibilityandpersonalizedoptionsbaseduponcareergoalsandgraduate

educationaspirations.Studentslearntoimprovehealththroughamultidisciplinedcorecurriculumgrounded

inthesocial,naturalandhealthsciences.Uponcompletionoftheprogram,studentswillunderstandthe

scienceofhumanhealth,epidemiologyofinfectiousandchronicdiseasesaswellascomplicationsoftheUS

andglobalhealthcaresystemswithregardtoaccessandethicsofdisparityinhealthcaredelivery.Through

advising,studentsareencouragedtoacquireaminororacertificatewiththeirelectivesthatwillenhancetheir

knowledgeinaspecificarearelatedtoPublicHealth.Theseincludebutarenotlimitedto:Anthropology;

AppliedStatistics;Biology;CommunityHealth;Economics;ExerciseScience;Geography;GlobalHealth;

LGBT&QStudies;Nutrition;Psychology;RegionalPlanning;Safety,Health,andEnvironmentalSciences;
