Transcript from another college showing successful completion with a grade "C" or
better in an equivalent English class.
Transcript or diploma from your Bachelor's degree (for English course placement at the
200 level)
Advanced Placement (AP) test scores in Language or Literature with a score of 3 or

International Baccalaureate (IB) Higher Level English Examination with a score of 5 or

California State University English Placement Test (EPT) with a score of 151 or higher.
Alternatives to taking the Math Assessment

Transcript from another college showing successful completion with a grade "C" or
better in an equivalent math class.
Transcript or diploma from your Bachelor's degree (for math course placement at the 30
level), or
Advanced Placement (AP) test scores in Calculus AB or BC with a score of 3 or higher.
