PhD by Portfolio (Supporting Information)
This information is to be supplied at ‘Full Proposal’ stages, after the Expression of Interest has been completed.
Appl
icants must consult a copy of the PhD by Portfolio Course Rules, prior to completing this form; carefully noting the expectations and
requirements of the Portfolio degree.
Applicants should also be aware that the traditional PhD is based on the candidate undertaking a body of work over three to four years to develop
a thesis that contains a significant and original contribution that is assessed by international experts via an external examination. The volume and
quality of work undertaken by a candidate in the Doctor of Philosophy by Portfolio degree is expected to emulate this process, using prior research
that can be presented in a format demonstrated a substantive body of work and which will be assessed via the standard external doctoral
examination processes.

of work. Please attach additional pages if necessary.
Please note: this list will be provided to the University’s research reporting and library services team, for a bibliographic assessment. This will
result in a report on eligibility for consideration as a HERDC research output (including non-traditional research outputs), citations, impact factor
and other relevant information. A copy of this report will be provided to the admissions Committee and the applicant.
