REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLING IN MORE THAN 21 UNITS
• Petitions to enroll in more than 21 units are only accepted during the Add/Drop period of the semester, as defined in the
Academic Calendar (www.csuchico.edu/schedule/).
• Seniors (90 or more units) requesting to enroll in more than 21 units must be in good academic standing and obtain the
signatures of the Department Chair and College Dean of their major.
• Freshmen, sophomores and juniors (0 – 89 units) are required to have a minimum GPA of 2.75 in the two most recent
semesters and the signatures of the Department Chair and College Dean of their major.
• Undeclared freshmen, sophomore and juniors are required to have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and obtain authorization from
Academic Advising Programs and the Dean of Undergraduate Education
