I am aware of the requirements for the enclosure of a swimming pool in accordance with
Section 305 of the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC).
Existing Fence:
I certify that my property has an existing fence, which meets the requirements of the code for a
swimming pool enclosure.
New Fence:
I take full responsibility, as the property owner, for ensuring that the building permit for the
swimming pool fence enclosure is obtained and that the swimming pool shall be protected by a properly
constructed fence or barrier during and after construction.
In addit
ion, I assure the swimming pool will not be filled with water or otherwise used or occupied until
all final inspection approvals have been granted by the City of Virginia Beach.
