November 15-21, the USHJA will hold the USHJA National Championships, which will feature
the USHJA National Hunter Championships, USEF/USHJA National Jumper Championships
and the USHJA Affiliate Championships. Affiliate Championship Sections offered are listed
below. The Championships will take place at the South Point Arena, Las Vegas, NV November
15-2021.
Open to Junior & Amateur members of USHJA Affiliate Organizations and USHJA Outreach
Competitors:
- 2' & 2'6" Hunters
-2' 14 & Under Equitation
-2'6" 15-17 Equitation
-2'6" Adult Equitation
-.70m, .80m, and .90m Jumpers
USHJA Affiliate National Championships
• This is an opportunity for Affiliate Organizations to send riders to a National Championship designed just for them.
• The USHJA Affiliate Championships will include expanded offerings for 2021, for Juniors and Amateurs in the Hunters and Equitation
at fence heights of 2' and 2'6" and Jumpers from .70m to .90m. Thirty (30) riders will be accepted for each section. View Specifications
• Affiliate Organizations can nominate 3 riders to participate in each section. Riders do not need to be members of USHJA to
participate. Horses are not required to be recorded with USHJA.
• Riders may be nominated to cross enter in the same height section for a different Affiliate Division (ie, Hunters 2’ and Equitation 14 &
Under 2’) Horses may compete with a different rider in a different height section.
All Applicants Must be a current PHJA member in good standing.
All Applicants Must be either a Junior or Adult Amateur competitor. This is not open to professionals. Application Deadline: All applications
must be submitted by Friday, August 20 by 5 pm. Unsigned or Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Candidate Evaluation & Selection Process
PHJA is able to nominate up to three riders per section. If more than 3 riders apply to participate in a given section, the
evaluation and selection of rider representatives from PHJA will be made by a panel of four individuals made up as follows
based on rider ability to participate, experience, and narrative responses.

Zone 4 Trainer
All decisions made by the PHJA USHJA Affiliate Championship Selection Committee will be final.
The Committee will submit three rider nominees for each section to USHJA. A list of substitutes will
be created to fill any unexpected openings.
PHJA is very excited to offer this opportunity to our membership. This is a valuable chance to participate
in a national event and compete against other local association riders from across the country.
