TO BE COMPLETED IF STUDENT IS 17 OR YOUNGER
This letter is to inform Midlands Technical College that I, (parent/guardian)
give my minor child permission to take classes at Midlands Technical College
beginning Spring Semester 2019.
I understand that he/she will complete the admissions process and register for Spring Semester as
a full-time college student, taking into consideration that he/she will be an “early graduate” from
High School.
I also understand that my child’s high school will be required to provide a letter from the high school principal to
Midlands Technical College, stating that my child has met all South Carolina graduation requirements; along with
my child’s official final high school transcript (their final semester grades included, including the final GPA). If the
letter and final transcript are not received from the high school before February 11, 2019, my child can only be
enrolled in two classes until he/she reaches 18 years of age.
