Completed forms need to be submitted to the Enrollment Center, which is located on the first floor of
Watson Hall. If you have questions or would like more information about the Student Representation

Intention & Benefits of the Student Representation Fee
Each fee collected is divided between the Associated Student of Orange Coast College (ASOCC) and the
“recognized statewide community college student organization”, currently the Student Senate for California
Community Colleges (SSCCC).
• The SSCCC may use the funds to:
o To support the SSCCC operations
o Provide effective student representation and participation in state-level community college
shared governance and with governmental affairs representatives
o To advocate before the Legislature and other state and local governmental entities.
• The ASOCC may use the funds to
o To provide support for governmental affairs representatives of local or statewide student
body organizations who may be stating their positions and viewpoints before city, county,
and district governments, and before offices and agencies of state government.”
o Attending legislative activities like the SSCCC General Assembly,
o Visiting the offices of local and state elected officials,
o Training ASO representatives to effectively participate in these processes.
