mind that Governor Ivey may be statutorily required to select judicial appointees from a local
nominating committee. The Governor’s Appointments Office makes every effort to ensure that

If you are appointed to a judicial vacancy, you will be notified by phone and receive the hard
copy of your appointment letter in the mail within five business days of your appointment.
