Section II – STUDENT Oath and Affirmation
I understand that any material false statement made knowingly and willingly by me on this application, or any
documents attached hereto may, in accordance with O.C.G.A. 16-10-71, which provides that upon conviction, a
person who knowingly commits the offense of false swearing shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000
or by imprisonment for not less than one nor more than five years, or both, subject me to prosecution in a court of
law. Additionally, I further understand that any such false statement may subject me to immediate dismissal from
the institution.
Further, I certify that, to the best of my knowledge, the information submitted on this application is true and
complete.

Section III –Waiver & Documentation Requirements
In order to receive the Academically Superior Waiver, all students must
Must be enrolled full-time
o At least 12 credit hours in fall and/or spring.
o 6 credit hours for summer (optional)
Freshmen (no previous college credit)
o Must have an SAT (critical reading and mathematics) of 1000 or higher or ACT composite of 21 or
higher
o Must have a high school GPA in academic subjects of 3.0 or better.
Transfer Students (students with prior college experience) must meet regular admission requirements for
freshmen and have a college GPA of 3.0 or better
Academically exceptional students must work (tutoring, etc.) a designated number of hours per week
(minimum of 40 hours per semester) while school is in session.
ALL STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:
Completed application
Essay
Proof of lawful presence.
