Resident Declaration
Before giving this Notice of Termination of Residential Contract to James Cook University, I acknowledge that I
have been made aware of the consequences of clause 13.3 of the Residential Agreement.
I understand that if I terminate my residential contract by giving this Notice of Termination, I am required to continue
payment of accommodation fees for the remainder of the contract term or until such time as JCU enters into a
replacement contract with another resident.
I understand that I may submit a written request to the Manager for an exemption or partial exemption from clause
13.3; and that any such request must include evidence of Extenuating Circumstances which necessitate the early
termination of this Contract. I understand the request for exemption must be made in writing to the Manager within
7 days of this formal notification of Contract termination.
Pursuant to clause 13.2 of the Residential Agreement, I hereby give notice to James Cook University of the termination
of my residential contract.
