Candidate Selection Rubric: Candidate should insert name, division, and school, then submit
the rubric to the candidate’s principal. The candidate’s principal should complete the rubric and
return it to the candidate. Please include the completed form with candidate application.
The purpose of the Candidate Selection Rubric is to assist in the selection of participants in the Next Generation
Leadership Academy (NGLA). Please complete a rubric for each individual from your school applying to
participate in the Academy. The rubric serves as a tool for identifying qualities in candidates judged important for
future school leaders.
