Protection Act requires the payment of a double fee for any license or permit not renewed prior to its expiration.

INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS
A separate license is required for each location which sells or distributes nursery or floral stock within
New Mexico.
Nursery Dealer License (ND) includes:
Nursery Dealer – any person who buys and resells nursery stock or who handles nursery stock on
a consignment basis, when the stock was not grown on their premises.
Florist Dealer – any person who buys and resells floral stock, when the stock was not grown on
their premises.
Landscaper – any person who buys and resells, in connection with their design services, plants
used in landscaping.
Agent – any person selling or taking orders for nursery or floral stock to be shipped directly to
the consumer.
Nursery Inspection Certificate (IC) is required if any nursery or floral stock is grown on the
applicant’s premises.
Collected Plants Permit (CP) is required by any person collecting and selling plants grown in the wild.
Special Dealer License (SD) is available to any person who buys and resells only cacti or vegetable
plants not grown on applicant’s premises.
Special Vegetable Plant Inspection Certificate (SVPI) is available to anyone who sells only vegetable
plants grown on applicant’s premises.
