The following summarizes the requirements of the New Jersey National Guard Tuition Program
(NJNGTP), as legislated by the State of New Jersey and stipulated within University policy.
IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR A TUITION WAIVER, ALL BELOW REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET.
PART 1 Enrollment
I have been accepted to pursue a course of undergraduate or graduate study at Thomas Edison State University.
PART 2 Financial Aid
I have submitted my Free Application for Federal Student Aid (completed each academic year (July-June)).
I have received my financial aid award letter from the Office of Financial Aid, detailing my eligibility for this academic year.
PART 3 Waiver Information
I am submitting a current Commander's Certificate of Eligibility (signed by my commander within the past sixty days).
I do not qualify for 100% Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits, or have transferred my benefits to an eligible family member.

Ø Tuition waivers cannot be processed without an award letter from the Office of Financial Aid.
Ø A registration waiver can only be processed if all requirements have been met.
