Student Nanny Fair Participant,
This event will be hosted by Oral Roberts University as a networking venue with the intention to help
ORU students looking for a nanny or babysitter job to connect with interested families. Oral Roberts
University will not be conducting background/ reference checks on the families/ potential employers
prior to your possible employment. Any employment that occurs following the Nanny Fair event and
matters pertaining to employment will be solely your responsibility, including but not limited to, all
due diligence to inquire about the family/job responsibilities and environment. In addition, this release
shows your agreement to have your contact information (name, phone, email, class year) listed on a
“Master List” that will be given to local families inquiring about hiring a nanny or babysitter at this
event and through future inquires of Career Services.
A signed release will be necessary to participate in this event. Please see below.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY FOR NANNY FAIR PARTICIPANTS
Oral Roberts University

in the Nanny Fair event at Oral Roberts University (“ORU”) allowing my contact information (name,
phone, email, class year) to be added to a “Master List” given to local families and therefore, I agree to
the following:
Release, Waiver, Indemnity. I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, INDEMNIFY,
DEFEND AND HOLD HARMLESS ORU, its Board of Trustees, officers, instructors, employees,
agents, volunteers, and any organizers or employees, from and against any and all liability,
claim, demand, suit, or cause of action of any kind, for any property damage, loss or theft,
personal injury, death, or disability, or other loss or expense of any kind arising out of or in
connection with my participation in the Nanny Fair event and/or my contact information being
on the “Master List” distributed to potential family employers, by the undersigned.
