similar relief
Reported the activity to a law enforcement agent/county attorney in an effort to initiate a
criminal action against the perpetrator
Wrote a letter warning the perpetrator not to return and that a return to the premises
could result in a trespass/other action AND sent a copy of the letter to a local law
enforcement agency
In order to qualify for one of the above exemptions, you must provide written proof to
the landlord, prior to the commencement of a suit against you, that you have taken one
of the above measures.
