Residential Life: If you withdraw below full-time enrollment, you may be required to vacate student housing.
Please contact Residential Life BEFORE withdrawing. See your community standards handbook.
Financial Aid: Your financial aid package will be adjusted based on your enrollment. If you completely
withdraw, you may be required to repay some of your financial aid. Classes in which you receive
a “W” are considered attempted hours for purposes of Satisfactory Academic Progress for
financial aid
.
International Students: If you withdraw below full-time enrollment without prior permission granted in SEVIS, your F1
or J1 SEVIS record will be terminated.
Graduate Students:
Students on support will have contracts terminated if they fall below 12 credits (6 credits in
summer). Warnings will be issued to full time students who complete less than 9 credits in the
Fall and Spring semesters (6 credits in summer). If you DO NOT have a contract and withdraw
below 9 credit hours, you will be placed on probation.
Undergraduate Students:
Students who will be withdrawing from classes that have an assigned co-req class (i.e. a
corresponding lab or math class) will need to also have a co-req waiver to be signed in order to
stay in a class without its co-req or withdrawing from all classes with corresponding co-req’s will
be required.
ALL STUDENT WILL RECEIVE A “W” ON TRANCRIPTS WITH THIS OPTION
