Information about Auditing a Class
“AUDITING” A CLASS – Taking a course to learn the subject but do not earn a letter grade
or receive any credit. You will receive a grade of either SATISFACTORY AUDIT (SA) or
UNSATISFACTORY AUDIT (UA) as determined by the instructor, but NO CREDIT. All
tuition and fees still apply for Audits. Professors may expect you to attend class, be
prepared and take exams-please discuss requirements with your professor. These hours
could affect Financial Aid as you are required to register for 12 hours or more to be
considered full-time (undergraduates). Please check with Financial Aid before you consider
this change. You can take the same class at an “approved” college and get transfer credits;
however the “SA” or “UA” stays on your transcript.
