II. Thesis Outline – The body of the outline is to be prepared on white, 8 ½ x 11-
inch paper. This section of the prospectus is to be prepared in accordance with
the style required by the major field, and it is expected to include a statement of
the problem to be investigated, the source of the problem, a review of the related,
principal, published literature and an accompanying bibliographic listing, and the
plan/procedure/research design to be followed toward the solution and/or the
answers to the research question(s) associated with the problem.
