Yuba College Alumni & Friends
Mission Statement
Yuba College Alumni & Friends is an organization of people who desire to serve and support the
college.  Yuba College has served the community since 1927 and we want to continue the
tradition of excellence.
The purpose of the association is to maintain strong relationships between friends and former
students and to support and promote the goals, activities, and interests of the college. The
association provides the vehicle to stimulate this support and to keep the community, alumni
and friends of Yuba College involved in college programs and activities.  There is a growing pride
in being a part of the Yuba College family of supporters and in giving something back to the
college which has given so much to them.
Annual Fund Grants
Alumni & Friends of Yuba College help current students through generous donations to the
A&F Fund, by giving gifts of money or time to societies, clubs and departments across
the College in order to enhance the student experience at Yuba College.
To be awarded funding, projects must demonstrate that they will enhance the student
experience across the wider student community, benefitting current and future generations of
students and making Yuba College an even better place to live and study.
The A&F Fund supports a wide range of projects for example they may support new innovations
in academic contexts, provide new equipment for clubs or societies or enable new activities to
be piloted.
Criteria for Funding
1. The project will enhance the student experience at Yuba College.
2. The project will impact a large audience of students.
3. The project will create or improve links between the College and the community.
