Special call for proposals
The Diversity Committee is providing funding for activities and/or events related to Maunakea. They may include
classroom activities, community forums, speaker series, etc. Examples of activities and events include:
· Taking students to Maunakea to discuss how Maunakea represents them and their community
· Events or Seminars that highlight Maunakea, and the role of Maunakea in our community, culture and lives
· Develop or implement lectures and/or course topics that incorporate Maunakea
The activity or event must be completed by the end of the 2018 fiscal year. UH Hilo Diversity Funds are awarded
on a competitive basis. The Diversity Committee will be overseeing the application and review process. This is a
call for proposals. The deadline to submit your proposal is 4:00PM on Friday, February 9, 2018. Please submit
